Computer Backplane
Backplanes allow for control of the Industrial Computer (IPC) system by inserting a Single Board Computer (SBC) into a dedicated PICMG 1.0/1.3, PISA, PCI, ISA or PICOe slot. Expansion slots allow for additional card types such as Motion Controllers, I/O cards, Vision cards and many others. Backplanes are standard components of Industrial Computers, IPC's. Backplanes range from 2 slots to 20 slots from a variety of PCI, PCIe, ISA, PISA, PICOe and PICMG 1.0/1.3 configurations.

Barebone PC Computer Systems

Computer Chassis
The chassis houses the components of the Industrial Computer (IPC), Network Server or Control System. The chassis is an enclosure that allows the system components to be mounted securely and protects them from vibration, dust, moisture, static and other harmful elements. TCS offers a range of industrial chassis types from Rackmount chassis to Wallmount chassis, including color and customization options.

| TCS offers LCD panels and LCD /Flat Panel Monitors that are enhanced to increase their brightness and contrast to enable them to be Sunlight Readable. Where standard LCD panels and monitors are washed out and unreadable in direct sunlight, TCS Transmissive and Transflective LCD panels and LCD/Flat Panel Monitors are designed to be readable in direct sunlight. TCS Transmissive LCD technology means the native LCD Panel is ACTIVELY enhanced by adding more backlights to increase the brightness. TCS Transflective LCD technology means the native LCD Panel is PASSIVELY enhanced by adding a reflective layer inside the LCD Panel utilizing ambient light ot increase the brightness and contrast. | As an additional option to all TCS LCD Panels and LCD/Flat Panel Monitors TCS offers Touch Screens that operate in 4, 5 and 8 wire resistive, capacitive and Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) configurations. TCS also offers special Touch Screen configurations for Vandal/impact resistance, High Pressure, heat and humidty requirements. Together with the Touch Screen's TCS supplys Touch Controllers to support USB and Serial interfaces. All TCS Touch Screens come pre-integrated directly to the LCD Panel or LCD/Flat Panel Monitor with Software Drivers to support a wide range of operating systems.

The Panel PC is an all-in-one system that includes both the Industrial Compter (IPC) and LCD/Flat Panel Monitor in one enclosure. TCS Panel PCs come with many onboard features such as LAN, VGA, USB, CF and others. TCS offers optional Panel PC features such as resistive-type touch screens, expansion card capability and external drives (CD-ROM,Floppy etc.), Stainless Steel Bezels, colors and many other customizable options. Single Board Computer
The Single Board Computer (SBC) is the heart of all TCS control systems. TCS Single Board Computers (SBCs) are catagorized by Chipset, CPU, Form Factor and Interface. TCS offers SBC's from fanless to Quad Core configurations ranging in size from PC/104 to EATX Motherboards. What ever your requirements TCS has a Single Board Computer (SBC) to meet them.

| The chipset controls the Single Board Computer (SBC) and its capabilities. All components on the SBC and through the SBC interface communicate with the processor through the chipset - it is the hub of all data transfer. The chipset uses the DMA controller and the bus controller to organize the steady flow of data that it controls. The chipset is a series of chips attached directly to the SBC, and is usually second in size only to the processor on the SBC. Chipsets are integrated (soldered onto the SBC) and are not upgradeable without a new SBC. TCS SBC's use chipsets that support Embedded CPU's as well as CPU's up to and including the Intel Quad Core CPU's.
